Meadowgate Alpacas

Time has a funny way of bringing you back to what you love.  After a much-needed break, Steve and Nicole Phillips realized that they missed seeing faces in the fields and started researching other opportunities to own animals that would be easier to maintain and kinder to the property than the horses they’d had before. Their research led them to alpacas–who wouldn't love these smart, soulful animals after a first paca hug?!

Meadowgate Alpacas works hard to bring together quality and friendly animals. They are continuing to develop the alpaca therapy program that they started in 2019, focusing outreach on the residents of assisted living facilities, veterans organizations, and non-profits centered around children’s well-being. Community service is an important part of the goals Steve and Nicole set for Meadowgate Alpacas, and their Alpaca Ambassadors are ready to spread some alpaca joy!
