Heartfelt’s throws begin with elegant, silky suri alpaca fiber. When we felt the suri fiber to 100% cotton flannel fabric of your choosing, the fiber comes through the flannel, softening the look of the pattern and the feel of the fabric. There are two breeds of alpacas - huacaya and suri. Suri fiber is known for its luster and its silky feel, while huacaya fiber has a fluffier softness. Felted flannel-alpaca throws are approximately 40 x 60 inches. To care for your throw, hand wash (not the machine “hand wash” cycle) in cold water, gently squeeze (don’t wring) the water out, and hang or lay flat to dry.
